Yiana Apparel Inc. was founded by Joanna Gavrilos in July 2004. Joanna’s philosophy in creating the Yiana brand was to design a woman’s premium clothing line that would fit her lifestyle and body. A couture designer and
entrepreneur, Joanna believes that the modern woman’s wardrobe should not only provide a perfect fit with high quality fabrics but also be versatile for wear on a professional and social basis.
Prior to Yiana, Joanna started a successful couture business that specialized in wedding, evening apparel, and accessories. She also held the position of Senior Designer for a major clothing distributor/manufacturer and synthesized new merchandising directives by conducting nation wide research on current trends and competitor merchandising. Joanna’s designs were used in several private label lines where she had extensive management and operations background in retail. Embracing her true passion for design, Joanna has created a contemporary line that can fit in every woman’s wardrobe and lifestyle.
